Jessica and Brooke

 I did this photo shoot on the 10th for a couple of 18 year old BFF's.  I know Jessica from working with her family at their farm Hee Haws Farms every year during Halloween time and Brooke lives out of state, and she came up to visit.  I love seeing pictures of these two together because you can see how much they truly love each other, and wanted to take some pictures of my own for them.  It was my first time meeting Brooke, who is amazingly gorgeous and so bright and happy. Watch for her on theis coming season of American Idol.  She is an amazing singer too!  Jessica is seriously so beautiful and so awesome.  She and her family are the most amazing people I will ever know in my life.  I cannot say enough good things about the Smiths.  This shoot was so fun!!! We had them try on a few different outfits and had them just pose their hearts out.  At the end we brought out some feather pillows and had them have a pillow fight.  I laughed so hard!  We had thousands upon thousands of feathers in our living room at the end of the shoot and it took a while to clean up but it was SO worth it cuz we got some great pictures out of it!  Thanks Jess and Brooke for letting me take pics of you two together.  I am so impressed at your level of friendship.  I have never seen two best friends that care about each other more.  Your guys are THE BEST!!!!! Kathryn Elizabeth Utykanski

 For our first job of 2012, we met baby Kate.  This little girl is, in my opinion, a fighter! She was 2 months early, had little problems with breathing and only stayed in the hospital for a couple of weeks.  It was hard waiting to meet this cutie until she was healthy and the cold/flu floating around the area was not a threat to her so we could take her newborn pictures, but we got there.  Now, at 2 months old, she weighs 6 lbs and has a lot of fire in her.  I wanted to cuddle with her for hours! To say this was one of my favorite shoots is an understatement.  I am so glad I was able to take pictures of her and can't wait to take more of the rest of her family soon.  She is truly a special little girl.  Thanks to her mom Stephanie for giving us the opportunity.  You guys are AWESOME!
